The overlap between the way hormones move mood and energy through the month and the way a household actually runs — the tiredness, the late meetings, the Tuesday that got away — is wide enough that no chart is going to sort out which is which on any given evening.
The honest summary is that the effect is smaller than it feels and more variable than the internet suggests, and that both of those things can be true while a woman is still standing in front of the fridge at eleven o'clock with genuine intent.
